In the war for talent, talent has won. ICP research 2015 shows that internationals score The Netherlands with a meagre 6,1 on a crucial factor for their choice of country: ‘access to growth opportunities’. While we seem to have everything on offer for fantastic life-careers: great challenges at innovative employers (large and SME), a facilitating government, good universities and customer friendly services. Apparently this is not always on the internationals’ radar. A shame, because it stands in the way of innovation and growth.
ICP’s new membership options and Knowledge Partner Program are an answer to the findings of the research. The goal: more connections between ICP members and Knowledge Partners to (continue to) grow together.
Acting as the Global Talent Catalyst ICP has decided take up the glove and start improving connections by:
- Expanding its membership options, opening up to startups and midcaps with international employees
- Giving service providers, business hubs, governments, municipalitities, NGO’s the opportunity to join the ICP Knowledge Partner Program
- Organising four ICP TAP events to connect with the network and share knowledge
- Building an online knowledge center to share knowledge between members and knowledge partners.
